Day-wise Itinerary

A detailed breakdown of your journey, day by day

Pick up from Haridwar early morning. Scenic drive through Rishikesh, Devprayag, and Rudraprayag along the Alaknanda River. Arrive at Chopta, the beautiful alpine meadow surrounded by dense forests of pine, deodar, and rhododendron. Evening bonfire and stargazing.

Early morning trek from Chopta to Tungnath temple (3.5 km). Perform darshan at the highest Shiva temple in the world. Continue the summit push to Chandrashila peak (1.5 km) at 13,000 ft for breathtaking 360° views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba, Kedar Peak, and Bandarpunch. Descend back to Chopta by afternoon. Evening at leisure.

Drive to Kartikswami trailhead near Kanakchauri. Trek 3 km through beautiful oak and rhododendron forests to the ancient Kartikswami temple, perched on a cliff edge with stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Kartikeya, son of Lord Shiva. Descend and drive to Rudraprayag for overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar with a stop at Devprayag, the sacred confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi forming the holy Ganga. Arrive at Haridwar by afternoon. Trip ends with unforgettable mountain memories.
